The week of 10 to 17 August 2026 begins with a promising Monday, caped by a rare eclipse, and concludes with a reflective period, offering unique opportunities and cautionary notes for various zodiac signs.
The week of 10 to 17 August 2026 opens with a strong burst of momentum in the Chinese horoscope, with Monday 10 emerging as the most supportive day of the lot. Marcelo Viggiano, a Feng Shui and Chinese astrology specialist writing for El Intransigente, said the day carries a highly expansive feel, especially for matters linked to work, money, health and practical progress. In that reading, it is a good moment for contracts, job changes, travel, openings and moves.
That upbeat start is not equal for every sign. Viggiano said Rat, Monkey and Rooster are especially well placed on Monday, while Dog sits in a trickier position because of its clash with the Dragon. The next day, Tuesday 11, cools things down a bit. The Fire Snake day is described as moderately favourable, with some room for requests and proposals, but not enough momentum for anything particularly important. Monkey, Rooster and Ox may still have some leeway for pay rises or relationship steps, while Pig is the sign to watch.
Midweek brings the standout celestial event of the week. On Wednesday 12, the new moon and solar eclipse coincide with a Earth Horse day, which Viggiano called the second-best day of the week. He said the combination of the Open official and Orion makes it a particularly lively time for beginnings: launches, weddings, receptions, parties, advertising campaigns and contract signings all look better under this sky. Dog, Tiger and Goat are shown as the strongest signs, while Rat is in a less helpful spot.
From Thursday 13 onwards, the tone becomes more inward. The Close official on the Earth Goat day favours tidying, reflection and routine rather than pushing outward into new projects. Friday 14, a Metal Monkey day, offers only a small opening through the Propose official, which is better for first steps than for major commitments. Saturday 15, the Metal Rooster day, shifts the focus to clearing clutter and making small repairs, while Sunday 16, the Water Dog day, is about amplifying whatever is already underway, with particular emphasis on finances for Horse, Tiger and Rabbit.
The week ends on Monday 17 with a Water Pig day and the Balance official, which Viggiano said brings a special lift for people born in years ending in 6 or 7, such as 1956, 1986, 1987, 1996 and 2007. According to his guidance, that group may find interviews, job searches and exams running more smoothly. He also noted one exception: those born in 1977 are left out of that boost because of the Snake-year factor. AstroBazi’s August 2026 outlook also points to strong momentum for Snake, Rat and Dragon, while advising caution for Monkey and Tiger, which fits the broader sense that this month is offering both openings and a few sharp corners.
