Astrologer Yu Yang encourages a hopeful outlook for the seventh lunar month, highlighting opportunities for travel, business, and personal growth amid traditional fears associated with the period.
The seventh lunar month may have a spooky reputation in traditional folklore, but astrologer Yu Yang is selling a sunnier reading. According to reporting in the Chinese press, she describes the period as one for gratitude, prayer and making the most of movement, with the so-called Yi Ma Star suggesting a handy window for business trips, travel and fresh commercial openings, so long as people keep an eye on safety along the way.
Yu’s headline winners for the month are Ox, Snake and Sheep. The Ox is tipped for a lift in both work and romance, with the possibility of promotion, stronger visibility and even a little unexpected cash luck. The Snake is seen as especially well placed to stand out through new ideas, while the Sheep may benefit from helpful backers and a fuller purse. It is the sort of forecast that feels less like a thunderbolt from fate and more like a gentle nudge to stay open, keep moving and notice where support is already appearing.
For the rest of the zodiac, the month looks more like a mixed bag than a fixed script. Rats are warned that work may feel sticky, with paperwork and assigned tasks coming under repeated scrutiny. Tigers, by contrast, may find themselves on the road more often, using travel and business demands to prove what they can do. Rabbits could run into sudden workplace complications but are expected to find relief through benefactors, while Dragons are advised not to be dazzled by distant opportunities that may prove more mirage than miracle.
Elsewhere, the Horse may gain from job changes or travel-linked challenges, the Dog could shine by taking on new responsibilities and the Pig is likely to find help from male elders or other supporters when problems crop up. The Monkey, meanwhile, is urged to keep its head down, ignore gossip and avoid stirring the pot. The Rooster should pay close attention to contracts and details, while the Sheep, beyond that strong all-round outlook, is encouraged to make time for the outdoors and a bit of sunshine. However playful the predictions, the common thread is practical enough: travel carefully, speak thoughtfully and let the month work with you rather than against you.
